CNG Expansion

Heritage Gas Limited (HGL) is the regional natural gas utility that serves the province of Nova Scotia and they own and operate a CNG bulk transport station by Halifax. They wanted to expand the compression capacity of the station from 3000 scfm to 5000 scfm to better serve the growing local CNG market.

The Pura team provided:

  • All engineering support during the design, procurement and installation process.

  • Test design and approval to increase the operating pressure of the facility.

  • Provincial approval and permitting with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour.

  • Update station operations manuals to include new compression.
